Texting and Driving
This is a kind of public service announcement from AT&T about the dangers or texting while driving. It is done well but -- CAUTION -- could be a little disturbing.
Status website
We have created a new status website! This website will show the status (up or down) of our main websites. Also, whenever a website is down -- visitors will automatically be forwarded to the status site. Of course we are hoping for no downtime!
You can also see some nice uptime and response time graphics.
Guide for busy people
I may have stumbled upon the ultimate guide for busy people. This entry from Zen Habits (click here) lays out things you can do at work, at home and on the computer to save time.
Some of these entries look pretty familiar - as in things I have tried but haven't been able to stick with (ie. At Home #5 - don't watch too much TV).
Anyways, this list should save time (no pun intended) as you make your New Year's resolutions.
Could you give up your email?
I am a little behind on my blog reading (so stop me if you have heard this one already) but a New York Times article (click here) talks about President-Elect Obama most likely having to give up his Blackberry because pretty much everything he will do as President is public record.
Not try to get political at all but I'm not so sure I could give up my Blackberry, Thinkpad, Twitter or Facebook accounts, etc.
Looks like I won't be President anytime soon
